We are looking for an Onboarding Manager to help us scale our transformation into a fully checkout enabled fashion shopping platform, with operational excellence at its heart. This role is responsible for orchestrating the complete end-to-end onboarding journey for fashion retailers and brands integrating with Lyst’s Checkout platform.
Reporting to SVP Operations, this is a high-touch collaborative role working with commercial, product & technical and operational stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely onboarding.
The main objective is to ensure a high-quality and scalable onboarding process for all partners integrating onto our checkout platform. This involves driving communication, coordination, and swift issue resolution from the initial pitch through to full operational launch.
Success in this role will see:
- Partners launching on time with high satisfaction to minimize post-launch issues.
- Onboarding is smooth, predictable, and well-communicated with both partners and internal stakeholders.
- Onboarding processes are continually optimised for speed, quality, and scalability.
- Strong collaboration with all relevant teams ensures partners are set up for long-term success.
We are therefore looking for someone with a range of skills including:
- Project Management
- Internal & External Stakeholder Management
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Process Optimisation
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the end-to-end onboarding journey for new checkout partners, ensuring each step is delivered with quality, efficiency, and clarity.
- Participate in pitch and onboarding calls with the Partner Acquisition Manager, acting as the technical liaison and translating complex requirements into simple, actionable language.
- Drive structured communication and expectation-setting across the onboarding lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders — internal and external — remain aligned and informed.
- Manage multiple onboardings simultaneously, using clear timelines, milestones, and communication cadences to maintain momentum and transparency.
- Work closely with partnerships, engineering, product, operations, legal, and commercial teams to remove blockers and keep partners progressing smoothly toward launch.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, escalating early and proposing solutions to keep launches on track.
- Validate with technical onboarding executives that partner integrations meet Lyst’s technical, operational, and compliance standards before go-live.
- Monitor and report on onboarding performance metrics (time to launch, partner satisfaction, early adoption), using insights to improve predictability and quality.
- Develop and enhance onboarding processes, documentation, and tooling to improve efficiency, scalability, and partner experience.
- Provide concise, timely updates and enable data-driven decision making for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in partner onboarding, implementation, customer success, or project management within a technical or platform environment.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects, prioritise effectively, and bring structure to fast-moving or ambiguous situations.
- Analytical and curious mindset, able to diagnose issues, spot patterns, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve problems.
- Comfortable engaging with technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, and data flows — and confident working alongside engineers and product teams.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a predictable and high-quality partner experience.
- An agile and continuous improvement mindset: you enjoy refining processes, simplifying workflows, and creating scalable systems.
- A creative problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is energised by Lyst’s mission to transform the future of fashion shopping.
- Experience working with E-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Salesforce would be a bonus but not essential.
