A secondary school in Letchworth Garden City is looking for a Geography Teacher to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys clear routines, supportive colleagues and a curriculum that helps students understand both the physical and human world.
About the role
You will teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and play an active part in shaping a department that values curiosity, discussion and strong subject knowledge. Lessons follow a well planned sequence, resources are shared and the school has a calm, purposeful atmosphere that allows teachers to teach.
As a Geography Teacher here you will:
• Deliver engaging lessons that cover physical and human geography
• Support students in developing geographical skills and wider understanding
• Use assessment to identify strengths and gaps
• Contribute to department planning and resources
• Work with a friendly team that loves the subject
About you
We are looking for a Geography Teacher who:
• Has qualified teacher status
• Has strong subject knowledge in geography
• Enjoys planning well structured lessons and modelling key concepts
• Communicates clearly and builds positive classroom relationships
• Is ready for a permanent role that offers stability and support
