A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team on a part-time maternity cover contract starting November 2025 .
This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with strong knowledge of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly in preparing pupils for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs). Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge Year 6 pupils
- Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-KS2 assessments while promoting confidence and resilience
- Use a range of assessment tools to monitor progress and inform next steps in learning
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through events and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 , ideally Year 6
- Strong understanding of KS2 SATs preparation and assessment requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication, and behaviour management skills
- A reflective and adaptable practitioner with a passion for helping every child succeed
