IT Technician - South London

We are recruiting an IT Technician for a busy secondary school in South London from January 2026 .
About the School
The school is a large 11–18 setting with a strong focus on digital learning. Staff make extensive use of IT in lessons, and students have frequent access to devices and online platforms. The IT support team is friendly and committed to keeping systems running smoothly.
The Role
- Position: IT Technician
- Location: South London
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Full-Time, All-Year Round (or Term-Time + Some Holidays Considered)
You will:
- Provide first-line technical support to staff and students (hardware, software, logins, printers, etc.).
- Help maintain PCs, laptops, interactive boards and other classroom tech.
- Support the network manager with basic maintenance tasks.
- Log and respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Assist with setting up IT equipment for events, exams and assemblies.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous IT support experience (school or non-school) is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Windows environments; knowledge of common school MIS/VLE systems is a bonus.
- Clear communicator with patience and a customer-service mindset.
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise tasks.
