Afterschool Nanny in Angel, London, Job ID J21CBF
A lovely family based in Angel, London, is seeking a Part-time Live-out Afterschool Nanny to care for their 5-year-old girl.
The ideal candidate will speak fluent English, and French would be a bonus. Someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident supporting a school-aged child with her after-school routine would be ideal for this role.
The nanny will be responsible for picking the child up from school near Barbican and bringing her home by tube or bus. Duties will include ensuring her safety and well-being, supporting her daily routine, helping with homework, and engaging her in interactive play, creative activities, educational tasks, and outdoor outings.
The role may also include extra hours during the school holidays, if desired. The family can offer extended hours from 13:00 to 19:00 if the candidate is happy to cook for the family and help with bath time.
Child-related laundry would be a bonus, along with encouraging the child to help tidy up after herself. Preparing dinner for the child would also be a bonus. No pet care will be required.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 15:00 to 18:30. Extended hours from 13:00 to 19:00 may be available if the candidate is happy to cook for the family and help with bath time.
Duties include:
- caring for a 5-year-old girl

- arranging outdoor outings, such as visits to the park

- maintaining consistent daily routines
- encouraging the child to tidy up after herself
- managing the child’s laundry, if agreed
- preparing dinner for the child, if agreed
- helping with bath time, if extended hours are agreed
- working extra hours during school holidays, if desired
The family is looking for someone who can start in September 2026.
