This is a great opportunity to join a global company, which design and manufacture niche products from its site in Bristol, for customers across the globe. You will be joining the Purchasing department and enjoy a varied role, managing supplier relationships and import processes, amongst other things.

The role:

• Manage the relationships with suppliers and sub contractors.
• Develop and maintain purchasing procedures.
• Processing purchase orders.
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve favourable pricing.
• Track deliveries and stock levels.
• Manage the import of overseas products.
• Contributing to CI initiatives, for example risk assessments, supplier approvals and contract implementation.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience within a Purchasing dept - ideally in manufacturing.
• CIPS qualified - desirable.
• Skilled with MRP systems, for example Epicor.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Familiarity with stock control principles.
