Primary Teaching Assistant role - Immediate Start - West London

A very welcoming and diverse primary school located in Shepherd's Bush is currently looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join the support staff team to start ASAP!


Working full-time as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be:

• Supporting and working 1:1 with key children to reach the targets on their EHCPs
• Delivering/assisting with the delivery of learning interventions, 1:1 and in small groups, helping the children to understand the agreed outcomes of these and the ways they can work towards achieving their targets
• Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing
• Supporting children with SEND in an inclusive environment
• Providing pupils with a range of learning strategies
• Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities
• Encouraging development through interactive play and exploration
• Closely monitoring the academic and social progress of key children
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
