The front-of-house team plays a vital role in maintaining the school’s professional image, ensuring efficient communication, and delivering outstanding service to visitors and stakeholders. With an expansion in student intake, the school now seeks a friendly and professional Receptionist to join its administrative team.
Role Information
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for all visitors, staff, pupils, and external partners. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing incoming calls and emails, maintaining visitor logs, distributing post, coordinating room bookings, and supporting administrative tasks within the main office.
You will also play a key role in managing communication between staff and parents, supporting emergency procedures, and ensuring the reception area remains organised and presentable.
This position requires a calm, professional individual who thrives in a busy environment and can multitask effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a front-of-house, customer service, or school office role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive information confidentially
• Friendly, proactive, and customer-oriented attitude
