A vibrant and welcoming nursery in Bromley is currently seeking a passionate and committed Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly and hardworking team of staff!
As a Nursery Practitioner, you are a key part of preparing young children for their future, and it is important to have a real passion for supporting their growth and development in their most formative years. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and children's learning and development is desirable too.
Your main responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:
- Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
- Assisting with the development of early maths skills
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
- Personal care and feeding
Previous experience working with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Nursery Practitioner.
This is a permanent position for the suitable Nursery Practitioner to work full-time Monday-Friday (8am-6pm), and interviews will be taking place ASAP!
