Year 1 Teacher — Good School — Lambeth — January 2026 start
An ambitious Year 1 Teacher is required by a warm and well-resourced Good primary school in Lambeth . This Full-Time Year 1 Teacher post has a January 2026 start; the successful Year 1 Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning sessions prior to January 2026 , attend induction in the fortnight of January 2026 , and be fully in class from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher .

• Year 1 Teacher will begin planning and induction ahead of the January 2026 start.

Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
- The Year 1 Teacher will plan and deliver systematic phonics, guided reading and early writing lessons as the Year 1 Teacher.
- The Year 1 Teacher will assess and track progress, run focused interventions and liaise with parents as the Year 1 Teacher.
- As Year 1 Teacher , you will contribute to enrichment, lead trips and support transition into Year 2 from January 2026.
The Year 1 Teacher will also attend phase meetings and CPD scheduled for January 2026 and beyond.
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent KS1 experience as a Year 1 Teacher .
- Strong phonics practice expected of the Year 1 Teacher and confident behaviour management.
- A collaborative Year 1 Teacher who will be available to start pre-term planning before January 2026 and to teach as a Full-Time Year 1 Teacher from January 2026 .
