History Teacher – Deliver Rigorous KS5 Modern History and Politics Curriculum – Redbridge
A well-regarded secondary school in Redbridge with a growing Sixth Form requires a History Teacher with a specialized focus on Modern History and Political Science for an immediate start in January 2026.

The role involves teaching GCSE and A-Level History , covering specific units in 20th-century British and global history. You will be expected to design and lead challenging extension programmes for university preparation, fostering independent research and critical analysis skills among highly motivated students.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in History (Post-graduate research is beneficial).
- Demonstrable experience teaching A-Level History successfully.
- Expertise in integrating academic sources and diverse perspectives into lessons.
- Capacity to mentor students through personal statement writing and university admissions tests.
