Person Profile

  • Passionate about education recruitment and improving teacher supply.
  • Brings fresh ideas and the drive to put them into practice.
  • People-focused leader – supports staff, identifies development needs, and empowers performance.
  • Collaborative management style – not a micromanager.
  • Understands that while the agency is stock-market listed, it operates with a people-first culture.
  • Believes recruitment is about relationships and trust, not rigid call-centre scripts.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in education recruitment (teacher supply) at Regional/Area/Senior Manager level.
  • Track record of growing teams and managing large budgets in the schools sector.
  • Experience leading billing managers, senior consultants, and support staff across Primary, Secondary and SEND.
  • Commercially confident managing multi-million-pound revenues.
  • Skilled at driving performance, mentoring leaders, and delivering results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with resourcers, compliance, HR, marketing, sales managers, regional managers, the MD, and CEO.
  • Understands the value of non-billing managers in scaling and developing high-performing teams.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role in education recruitment – directly supporting schools and Multi-Academy Trusts with their staffing needs, while helping to tackle the national teacher shortage.
