IT Technician – Innovative Secondary School – Camden (North London)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join an innovative and forward-thinking secondary school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically confident individual who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning through effective and reliable IT systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s IT infrastructure. You will provide first-line and second-line technical support to staff and students, resolving issues efficiently and ensuring minimal disruption to learning. You will also contribute to maintaining and developing the school’s network, hardware and software systems.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will need to be highly organised, adaptable and able to manage a varied workload in a busy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to staff and students
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software and network systems
• Support classroom technology and digital learning tools
• Manage user accounts and system access
• Assist with IT projects and system upgrades
• Ensure IT systems are secure and compliant
Requirements:
• Relevant IT qualification or experience
• Strong knowledge of networks, hardware and software
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a school setting (desirable)
