The Role

As a Midday Meal Supervisor , you’ll play a key role in ensuring pupils have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime. You’ll supervise children in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive behaviour, and promote good manners and healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils during the lunch period, both indoors and outdoors
• Encouraging positive play and social interaction
• Supporting children with any issues that arise, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
• Promoting good table manners and positive behaviour
• Helping to keep dining and play areas clean and tidy

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with or caring for children (school or community setting)
• A patient, caring and reliable attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment
• Punctual, responsible, and approachable
