Assala Energy, wholly owned by Gabon Oil Company, plays an important role in supporting the responsible development of Gabon’s energy sector and the creation of long-term value for Gabon and its people. With this in mind, Assala Energy is offering 3 paid internships and 4 short-term work experience opportunities within its London office for students and recent graduates. These placements are designed to provide early career talent with valuable practical exposure, professional mentorship and a better understanding of how different disciplines support our business.

Placement opportunities are available across a range of disciplines, including but not limited to:

• Geosciences
• Engineering & Projects
• Legal & Compliance
• HSSE
• Finance
• Human Resources

The experience is intended to provide students and graduates with meaningful hands-on exposure, structured support and professional guidance at an important stage in their academic or early career journey.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are currently studying, or have recently graduated, in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, Law or another relevant field
• Are curious, proactive and motivated to learn
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a basic understanding of the oil and gas industry, although this is not essential
• Are fluent in both English and French
