About the Role
A welcoming, inclusive, and community-focused primary school located in Forest Gate, East London , is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their teaching team. This is a full-time position suitable for an ECT, recently qualified teacher, or an experienced primary practitioner looking to work in a supportive and well-structured school environment.
The role is open to teachers with experience or interest in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 , with year group allocation based on experience, strengths, and school needs. The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher at this Forest Gate school, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL pupils
Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform planning
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
Contributing to pupil progress meetings and planning interventions where needed
Communicating effectively with parents and carers
Participating in staff meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives
Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Is committed to inclusive education and high-quality teaching
Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
Is reflective, organised, and proactive
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
Has a positive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
Teachers with experience supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional needs will be particularly well suited to this role, though this is not essential.
