After-school Nanny for a busy family, Job ID J1DFA3
This lovely family based in Nine Elms, London, near Vauxhall, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, such as preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm(open to consider the same hours during school holidays, however, they prefer term time only). Total hours per week: 20 hours
Duties include:
- Collecting the child from school
- Supporting with homework and educational activities
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Arranging and supervising playdates
- Engaging the child in age-appropriate games and activities
- Reading stories and encouraging early literacy
- Tidying away toys with the child’s involvement
- Assisting with the evening routine, e.g. helping the child organise school bags for the next day
- Carrying out light laundry of the child’s clothes
- Undertaking occasional grocery shopping
