English-speaking Junior Nanny, Job ID J1E5B1
A lovely family based in London is seeking a Junior Nanny or Au Pair to help care for their toddler while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. The ideal candidate will have experience in dog care, as the family has two large Golden Retrievers with medical needs requiring attention. The role is set to start in December for a transitional handover period as their current nanny departs. Additional hours will often be required for evening babysitting or sole care of the dogs. A driver would be considered a bonus. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 9:30 am and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Flexibility required for extra hours)
Accommodation: Attic room with en suite
Duties include:
- Supporting the child with homework and other school-related tasks
- Handling school drop-offs and pick-ups safely and on time
- Actively engaging the child in stimulating and age-appropriate activities
- Managing morning and evening routines to ensure consistency and structure
- Cooking nutritious meals and preparing supper for the child
- Supervising and participating in after-school activities
- Planning and facilitating recreational and creative play, including arts and crafts
- Encouraging messy play and other hands-on learning experiences
- Visiting local parks and playgrounds for fresh air and physical activity
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised environment for the child
- Tidying up after the child’s meals and activities
