Humanities Teaching Role in Barnet | Outstanding Ofsted
We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Barnet to recruit a versatile Humanities Teacher. This full-time, permanent position is for an ASAP start. The successful candidate will be a History specialist capable of delivering high-quality lessons up to KS5, while also contributing to the RE and Geography curriculum at KS3. We are looking for a practitioner with a pioneering spirit and a passion for academic enquiry.

Responsibilities
Teach inspiring History lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Deliver engaging RE and Geography lessons at KS3 as part of a broad Humanities curriculum
Support students in achieving excellence in A-Level History through high-calibre instruction
Implement strategies to help students understand complex global and historical perspectives
Participate in a strong culture of professional development and collaborative planning
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in History (or related Humanities subject) and QTS
Proven experience teaching History at KS5/A-Level is essential
Versatility to teach across the Humanities faculty at KS3
Must have the right to work in the UK
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: £34,514 to £51,179 (Outer London)
Full-time, permanent contract in an academically focused setting
