Maths Teacher – Focus on Foundational Numeracy and Mastery – Barking
A supportive and structured secondary school in Barking and Dagenham is recruiting a Maths Teacher with a passion for building foundational skills through a Mastery approach at KS3, starting January 2026.
- Mathematics Teacher required from January 2026

You will primarily teach KS3 Maths following a mastery curriculum, ensuring all students achieve conceptual fluency. Some teaching at KS4 will be required. The role involves working closely with the numeracy coordinator to embed consistent, structured strategies across the lower school.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and specialism in Mathematics
- Experience or training in a Mastery Maths approach (e.g., Shanghai Maths)
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and deliver highly structured lessons
- Commitment to data analysis to track KS3 pupil progress accurately
