We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed History Teacher to join the successful Humanities faculty at a well-regarded secondary academy in the Hounslow area of West London.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026 .

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective History specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous, evidence-based lessons that encourage critical thinking and source analysis. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice and contributing to the department's strong academic record.

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
- A proven track record as an excellent History Teacher with experience teaching the subject to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE) .
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- A strong commitment to research-informed teaching and enriching students' historical understanding.
- The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.
Salary and Benefits
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
- The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Outer London Pay Scale (The Outer London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately £37,870 as of September 2025).
- A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
