HGV Class 2 Driver Porter

Are you an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License looking for a new role in a company with nearly 150 years of experience within the logistics and removals sector?, Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Class 2 Driver, that's hard-working and resilient as you'll be delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client's valued items and your colleagues. • Vehicle daily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t /3.5t vehicle
• Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment required for the days operation.
• Lifting and packing a range of office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, fine art, etc.
• Taking goods in or out of storage
• Lifting and moving loads in excess of 25kg
• Ensuring the highest of standards are met when on site
• Responsible for your health and safety or you and colleagues
• Always deliver excellent customer care and service
• Working as an integral team member during Larger Specialist Projects including Laboratory and Executive Office relocations
• Complying with all company and health and safety procedures
  Enhanced Criminal Record Check

• HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
• Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Digital Tacho Driver Card (essential)
• CSCS Green Card (preferred)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC) (essential)
• Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
• ADR - Packages (preferred)
  BenefitsAs a Class 2 Driver, you'll receive a starting day rate of £130-£140 depending on experience. You'll receive incentives and a benefits package which will include an Employees Discount Scheme, Healthcare and Death in Service cover after 3 months. You'll also receive 23+8 days' holiday.
