Runner
Runner
Location: Mill Hill, NW7
This role is based full-time in our London studio (Monday–Friday)
‘Studio B’ are looking for a budding, enthusiastic Runner to join our team in London!
Studio B is a fast-growing creative studio with a global audience of 20 million+ followers. We create exciting digital content for the biggest brands and are looking for a passionate Runner to join our team.
We're looking for someone with previous experience in a creative agency, studio or production company who can hit the ground running from day one. You'll be proactive, organised and comfortable working autonomously, bringing structure to a busy, fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
As a Runner at Studio B, you'll work across every department, supporting Producers, the Art Department, studio operations and shoot crews. No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to build a broad skill set, gain hands-on experience across the business and discover the area of production you want to develop your career in.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems, pays close attention to detail and is committed to building a long-term career in the creative industry. As Studio B continues to grow, so will the opportunities to develop alongside us.
For this role, you must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle in order to complete errands outside of the office. Previous runner and on-set experience are required.
What you’ll do
Studio & Office Operations
Taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation and presentation of the studio, office and shared spaces.
Assisting tech and art departments to ensure equipment, props and kit are ready for upcoming shoots.
Managing stock levels and ordering office and studio supplies.
Helping create an organised, efficient environment where the team can do their best work.
Production Support
Supporting Producers with project administration, logistics and shoot preparation.
Assisting with call sheets, schedules, production paperwork and general coordination.
Completing collections, deliveries and production runs when required.
Logging of expenses, receipts and production purchases accurately.
On Set & Art Department
Assisting with set builds, dressing and strike-down.
Supporting the Art Department with props, sourcing, organisation and preparation.
Being a dependable extra pair of hands on shoot days, adapting to whatever the production requires.
Supporting crew, talent and clients throughout filming.
Team Support
Identifying where support is needed and stepping in without being asked.
Solving practical problems quickly and calmly.
Working across departments to keep projects and the studio running smoothly.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone who takes pride in being the person everyone can rely on.
You'll be someone who:
Takes ownership of every task and sees it through to completion.
Naturally spots what needs doing without waiting to be asked.
Works with urgency and understands the pace of a busy production environment.
Is highly organised and pays close attention to detail, even when juggling multiple priorities.
Communicates clearly, keeps people updated and asks questions when needed.
Is solutions-focused and enjoys solving practical problems.
Is adaptable and comfortable when priorities change throughout the day.
Is happy rolling up their sleeves—whether that's helping a Producer with admin, building a set, organising the studio or completing production runs.
Has a positive attitude and contributes to a supportive, collaborative culture.
Wants to build a long-term career within the creative industry and understands that mastering the fundamentals comes first.
What Success Looks Like After 30 Days
After your first month, you'll have:
Become someone the team naturally trusts and relies on.
Built strong relationships across every department.
Taken ownership of your day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Become confident managing studio operations and supporting Producers across live projects.
Demonstrated initiative by spotting opportunities to help before being asked.
Built a reputation for being organised, dependable and solutions-focused.
Contributed positively to shoots, the Art Department and the wider running of the studio.
Shown the professionalism, communication and attention to detail expected in a fast-growing production company.
This Role Is Probably For You If...
You thrive in busy environments where every day is different.
You enjoy taking ownership and making things happen.
You like working across different departments rather than doing the same thing every day.
You want broad experience across production, studio operations and the creative process.
You're looking to build a long-term career in the industry and understand that mastering the fundamentals creates future opportunities.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working as a Runner within a creative agency, production company or studio.
Full UK driving licence.
Access to your own reliable vehicle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, take ownership and prioritise effectively.
Comfortable working in a physically active role, including lifting equipment and supporting set builds.
Flexible to support occasional early starts, late finishes and changing production schedules.
Bonus Points:
Experience working on branded content, creator-led productions or social-first campaigns.
Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com , Asana or similar.
Experience working with vfx based shoots
