This 11–18 mainstream school is known for excellent behaviour, strong leadership and clear operational systems. The site team is highly valued and works closely with senior leadership to maintain a safe, clean and well-presented learning environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the school site and facilities
Opening and closing the school buildings
Ensuring health & safety compliance and carrying out risk assessments
Overseeing contractors, maintenance schedules and deliveries
Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and grounds work
Supporting school events, lettings and emergency call-outs
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Site Manager, Caretaker or Facilities Manager
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Professional, reliable and flexible approach
Salary
Paid in line with the support staff pay scale , depending on experience.
