The Opportunity
This prestigious independent school in Harrow is seeking a meticulous HR Manager to oversee the full employee lifecycle. You will work in a professional and fast-paced environment, providing high-level support to the Headteacher and Board of Governors. This role is central to maintaining the school’s reputation for excellence by ensuring the highest standards of recruitment and staff management.
Core Responsibilities
You will lead the recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to conducting pre-employment checks in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines. A key part of the role is maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR) to ensure total compliance during inspections. You will also provide expert advice on employment law, manage staff payroll queries, and lead on employee relations and performance management processes.
Requirements & Salary
Candidates should be CIPD qualified with experience in the education sector. The salary is competitive and reflects the school’s independent status.
