We are working with a prestigious and historic independent school in the North London area seeking an insightful Geography ECT. The Role & Responsibilities Working with motivated and academic students, you will deliver the vital lessons that help them understand the complexities of our changing planet.
Subject Delivery: Teaching Physical and Human Geography across KS3 and KS4, focusing on sustainable development, urban systems, and glaciology.
Fieldwork Coordination: Assisting in the planning and delivery of local and residential fieldwork enquiries to places like the Jurassic Coast or Iceland.
Data-Informed Teaching: Using student performance data and GIS (Geographical Information Systems) to tailor your instruction and close attainment gaps.
ECF Participation: Completing your induction modules with the guidance of a senior Humanities lead, focusing on cognitive science in Geography.
Requirements
Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Environmental Science.
QTS: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status.
Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK is essential.
Salary & Contract Details
Salary Range: £37,868 – £56,154 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent)
Hours: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
