Teaching Assistant | Harrow

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum, providing in-class support, small group interventions, and one-to-one assistance where required.
You will help create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence, engagement, and positive behaviour. Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including those requiring additional academic or emotional support, will be a key part of your role. Strong communication skills and a flexible approach will be essential.
You will work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to ensure pupils receive consistent support and feel confident in their learning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and keen to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
You will:
Support pupils’ learning across the curriculum
Work with individuals and small groups
Assist with classroom organisation and preparation
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
