Domestic Gas Service Engineer
- Carry out and assist with planned and reactive maintenance repair works (monthly emergency light tests and weekly fuel bunds inspections plus other delegated tasks within skillset)
- Painting and decorating tasks
- Act as the safety person for other trades while working at height
- Make sure that works are progressed in line with RIFM and Client procedures, with regard to on-site health and safety and comply with current regulations.
- Represent the company at site level and promote the company's services., Carry out routine servicing and response repairs to electrical services equipment, including fault diagnosis and rectification
- Undertake the day to day maintenance and repair of building services installations, including lighting, power, emergency lighting systems, energy conservation, heating controls, hot water systems and renewable systems
- Undertake as directed the planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) related to Electrical Inspections and Testing within a wide variety of buildings and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations
- Assist all other trades as and when required.
- Estimate, requisition and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials to ensure that appropriate and satisfactory repairs and maintenance are carried out following best practice and Health and Safety at Work regulations., Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
- Carry out the installation / replacement of new or existing gas appliances and heat emitters.
- Installation of gas pipework including appropriate tightness / strength testing as required.
- Replacement of heating controls and components as per manufacturer's instructions.

- Demonstrate strong domain knowledge and technical skills within the wastewater environment.

- Be an expert user of InfoWorks ICM modelling software. Experience of water quality modelling would be an advantage.
- Be proficient in use of GIS, including software such as QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
- Have skills and experience in one or more of the following: optimisation software, FME, programming languages such as Python and SQL, and/or legacy languages such as Ruby and VBA., BOHS P402 Proficiency certificate in building surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos
- At least 2 years' experience of undertaking surveys of domestic & commercial properties with a variety of ACMs
- Computer literate - Microsoft
- Literacy/ spelling and legible handwriting
- Driving licence Desirable:
- Any other BOHS P modules
- AutoCAD user
- Degree in related discipline
