Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical Art lessons.

• Maintain and organise art rooms, preparation areas, and storage spaces.

• Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

• Manage stock levels and assist with ordering materials and supplies.

• Support teachers during practical sessions and examination coursework periods.

• Assist with mounting and displaying student work around the school.

• Safely store and manage hazardous materials in line with COSHH guidance.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in an art, creative, or workshop environment (school experience desirable).

• Good knowledge of art materials, tools, and techniques.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Awareness of health and safety procedures in a practical classroom setting.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
