Art Technician - Tottenham
A diverse and forward-thinking secondary school in Tottenham is seeking a practical and creative Art Technician to join its Art & Design Department. This is a full-time, permanent support staff role, ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help deliver high-quality creative lessons.

Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical Art lessons.
Maintain and organise art rooms, preparation areas, and storage spaces.
Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering materials and supplies.
Support teachers during practical sessions and examination coursework periods.
Assist with mounting and displaying student work around the school.
Safely store and manage hazardous materials in line with COSHH guidance.
Candidate Requirements
Experience in an art, creative, or workshop environment (school experience desirable).
Good knowledge of art materials, tools, and techniques.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Awareness of health and safety procedures in a practical classroom setting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
