We've partnered with a leading Lloyd's syndicate to find them a Reserving Actuary for their high-profile, central reserving team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nearly qualified or qualified actuary to gain exposure at group level, influence senior stakeholders, and work on genuinely forward-thinking reserving initiatives.Why this role stands out
You'll sit at the heart of the reserving process, combining technical judgement, stakeholder interaction and innovation in a fast-paced Lloyd's environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the quarterly reserving cycle at a corporate level, shaping IBNR selections and delivering insight directly to senior management and committees.Drive catastrophe and group-wide analytical work, partnering with claims, underwriting and reinsurance teams to influence key reserving decisions.Innovate and modernise reserving processes, improving platforms, automation and exploring advanced analytics and emerging techniques.
