Nursery Teacher - Redbridge
We are delighted to invite applications for a Nursery Teacher to join our warm, inclusive, and nurturing primary school community in Redbridge. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to play a key role in supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journey.
Our school places great value on early childhood development and believes that children learn best in an environment that is safe, stimulating, and supportive. As a Nursery Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging activities across the Early Years Foundation Stage, supporting children’s learning through play, exploration, and structured teaching.
You will create a calm and welcoming learning environment where children feel confident, secure, and excited to learn. Observation and assessment will be central to your role, allowing you to monitor development, plan next steps, and ensure each child receives the support they need to thrive.
Working closely with support staff, parents, and colleagues, you will help build strong foundations for learning and ensure smooth transitions within the Early Years phase. Inclusion and differentiation will be at the heart of your practice, ensuring all children, including those with SEND or EAL, are supported effectively.
You will:
Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS learning experiences
Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment
Observe, assess, and track pupil development
Support children’s social, emotional, and personal development
Build strong relationships with families and colleagues
In return, we offer:
A friendly and supportive staff team
Strong leadership and a clear Early Years vision
Access to professional development and training
Well-resourced Nursery and Early Years environments
Happy, curious, and enthusiastic children
To be considered for this position, please forward an up-to-date CV as soon as possible.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
