Nanny in E11, Job ID J22103
A Leytonstone, London based family seeks an experienced Nanny to support the care of their two daughters, aged 8 and 9 years old .
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. The family is looking for someone patient, calm, and understanding, with experience supporting children with additional needs. The eldest child is autistic and has Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) . She attends a mainstream school, is highly intelligent, and benefits from consistent, thoughtful support during her morning and after-school routines. The nanny will work alongside the children's father, who will be present during working hours, to ensure both children receive individual attention and support.
For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity for the role to become live-in , with salary depending on the candidate's experience and living arrangements.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours:
- Sunday: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- Monday: 7:00 am to 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- Tuesday: 7:00 am to 10:00 am
- Friday: 3:00 pm to approximately 6:00 pm (every other week)
Approximately 19 hours per week .
Duties include:
- caring for two children aged 8 and 9 years old
- supporting the eldest child with autism and PDA during morning and after-school routines
- working in partnership with the children's father to provide consistent care
- ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
- supporting school runs and daily routines
- preparing and serving breakfast and dinner for the children
- providing engaging and age-appropriate activities
- carrying out children's housekeeping duties, including keeping their bedrooms and spaces clean and organised
- creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment
