Our client, an Outstanding primary school in Lambeth , is recruiting a talented Year 2 Teacher for a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher role beginning January 2026 . This is a Full-Time position with immediate impact: the successful Year 2 Teacher will join the school community at the January 2026 intake and support children’s learning from January 2026 through the remainder of the academic year. The school seeks a Year 2 Teacher who brings energy, pedagogical skill and a love of primary learning.

Year 2 Teacher responsibilities
• As a Year 2 Teacher you will plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
• The Year 2 Teacher will assess progress, use formative assessment and adapt teaching accordingly.
• The Year 2 Teacher will build strong relationships with parents and colleagues.
• The Year 2 Teacher will lead interventions and support pupils to achieve expected outcomes.

Experience & qualifications for the Year 2 Teacher role
• QTS and previous KS1/Year 2 experience.
• Demonstrable classroom impact as a Year 2 Teacher .
• Excellent behaviour management and strong communication skills.

This Full-Time Year 2 Teacher role begins January 2026 , with induction and comprehensive support. The school will welcome the Year 2 Teacher into an Outstanding environment in January 2026and expects the Year 2 Teacher to contribute positively from week one. The Full-Time contract provides stability and progression for the Year 2 Teacher who joins in January 2026 .
