Greenfield Account Executive, Nordics

Reporting to the Sales Director for Greenfield EMEA, your mission will be to acquire new customers for Databricks in the Nordics. As a Greenfield Account Executive, you will be an energetic salesperson passionate about prospecting and closing new opportunities, guiding customers to achieve their first business outcomes with Databricks. You will be passionate about data & AI technology and communicating its value to our clients and partners. You will be offered exciting opportunities for compensation and career development as part of an innovative business unit supporting the early customer journey at Databricks.
The impact you will have:
- Develop a successful territory strategy in your first 30 days
- Start executing and developing your first customer activations within your first 60 days
- Implement prospecting campaigns to discover new opportunities in partnership with your Business Development Representative
- Guiding customers through their first decision and their early successes driving outcomes with the Databricks Platform
- Driving accelerated quarter-over-quarter growth in a consumption sales model
- Work with system integrators, ISVs and cloud partners to help customers build an excellent data and AI strategy
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets
Competencies / Requirements
- Understanding of, and passion for, the data, AI, open source and cloud space
- Sales experience gained at high growth and successful companies
- Proven track record in prospecting and new logo acquisition
- Quota-overachievement when selling complex software
- Determination to succeed, learn and build your career as a salesperson at Databricks
- Experience in a consumption-based model
- Proven ability to sell value, build champions and work with a partner ecosystem
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other Nordic languages is an advantage
