DT Technician | Camden (Inner London)
We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Camden to recruit a high-calibre and enthusiastic DT Technician. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Design & Technology department. We are looking for a proactive individual who can provide meticulous technical support, ensuring the workshop remains a safe, creative, and inspiring environment for students to achieve their highest potential.

Responsibilities
Prepare materials and equipment for KS3, KS4, and KS5 practical lessons
Maintain and service workshop machinery and hand tools to ensure consistently outstanding quality
Support the department in upholding the highest standards of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Assist students and staff during practical sessions with technical expertise
Manage the procurement of materials and maintain an organised stock control system
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience as a technician or a strong background in a trade/creative industry
Proficiency in using workshop machinery (circular saws, lathes, etc.) and CAD/CAM software
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to workshop safety
Must have the right to work in the UK
