EYFS Practitioner - Islington
Are you an experienced EYFS Practitioner looking to join an ambitious Early Years team from January 2026? We are recruiting an enthusiastic EYFS Practitioner for a well-supported Reception provision in Islington.
The successful EYFS Practitioner will support the delivery of a high-quality Reception curriculum, lead focused small-group sessions, and contribute to accurate assessment and learning journeys. As EYFS Practitioner, you will collaborate with the teacher and SENDCo to plan play-based, language-rich activities and support children’s social and emotional development. The EYFS Practitioner will join a reflective team and will be expected to start January 2026, attend induction from January 2026, and contribute to termly planning in Islington from January 2026.

Responsibilities (as EYFS Practitioner):
• Deliver planned small-group activities and support continuous provision as the.
• Record observations, support assessments and maintain learning journeys as the EYFS Practitioner.
• Support transition work, parental engagement and safeguarding as part of the EYFS Practitioner role.
• Work alongside teachers and TAs to tailor support for children - central to the EYFS Practitioner remit.
