DT Technician - Grammar School (Sutton)

A top-performing Grammar School in Sutton is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to support their DT Department from January .
The school has an excellent reputation for academic achievement, behaviour, and innovation in STEM subjects. The DT Technician will work alongside teachers to support practical lessons, maintain equipment, and ensure the smooth running of workshops.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing materials and equipment for practical DT lessons
• Maintaining machinery, tools, and resources to ensure safety
• Assisting teachers and students during practical sessions
• Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
• Supporting with CAD/CAM equipment, 3D printers, and workshop machinery
• Ensuring all workspaces comply with health and safety standards

Requirements:
• Experience in a workshop or DT technician role
• Good practical, technical, and problem-solving skills
