About the Role:

Join Our Team This Winter – Temporary Roles Available!

We’re looking for flexible, seasonal work over our busiest time of the year. We’re offering short-term contracts perfect for fitting around your schedule, ranging from a few days up to 8 weeks with various shift patterns available, depending on each store's needs.

Key Dates You’ll Need to Be Available:

  • Christmas Eve – Wednesday 24th December 2025
  • First Day of Sale – Saturday 27th December 2025

As a member of the Support Team, you’ll be essential in ensuring everything runs smoothly during our peak season. We need team members who can bring a can-do attitude and work confidently on the sales floor, in the stockroom, or a combination of both.

On the sales floor, you’ll:

  • Provide fast, friendly service to our customers
  • Quickly and efficiently move stock to the sales floor
  • Keep sales floors looking great and easy to shop from

In the stockroom, you’ll:

  • Unpack, scan, hang and sort incoming stock
  • Locate, pack and transfer stock out of store quickly and carefully for our online customers
  • Help us meet key deadlines and keep the back of house tidy and organised.

Why join us?

About You:

You don’t need retail experience – just a great attitude and a willingness to get stuck in!

You are:

  • Comfortable speaking with customers and working in a busy environment
  • A team player who stays calm and focused, even when it’s busy
  • Organised, dependable, and quick to learn
  • Respectful, committed to our shared goals, and proud to be part of the team.

Apply now and become part of our amazing team this winter!

Right to Work:

In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.

This role is not one we would typically consider for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route due to, for example, the relevant Home Office requirements on skills level, not being met. Candidates are therefore encouraged to consider their own right to work options without NEXT sponsorship.

We’re the UK’s 2nd largest fashion retailer and for Kidswear we’re the market leader. At the last count we have over 500 stores, plus the Next Online and it’s now possible to buy on-line from over 70 countries around the world! So we’ve gone global!

About The Team

  • 25% off most NEXT, MADE, Lipsy, Gap and Victoria's Secret products (available after 1 week's service when purchased through NEXT)
  • 10% off most partner brands & up to 15% off Branded Beauty (after 1 week's service)
  • 60% off a generous (optional) working wardrobe allowance to buy clothes to wear for work (minimum 6 week contract)

  • Hot deals and exclusive offers from over 3,500 retailers through our online benefits platform
  • Access to fantastic discounts at our Staff Shops
  • Access a digital GP and other free health and wellbeing services
