We’re now looking for a forward-thinking CTO to lead our tech department who is structured as a team of teams with different leaders. The role is situated in the UK or Ireland (Both are alternatives) but you will be working with wonderful colleagues in all countries where TicketCo operate. This is a C-Level role where you will also be part of forming the strategy of the company moving forward.
The opportunity
As CTO, you will be the architect of TicketCos technical future, driving it forward and pushing boundaries. You will lead our tech organisation, drive innovation, and ensure that our technology always serves one clear purpose. To build the best fan journey in the world.
You’ll work closely with our Chief Product Officer, our customers and the broader leadership team to align technical delivery with strategic goals. Together, will refine and continue to build the TicketCo platform to deliver impact for both fans and the teams that serve them.
What you will do
Lead and develop our technology organisation. Delivering world-class solutions for sports clubs and their fans, but also cater for long tail events that utilise TicketCo due to our strong market presence.
Continue to shape and execute the long-term technology roadmap. And align this with our business goals.
Own operations and support in the tech department Our platform transacts millions of tickets every year through multiple high scale events.
Collaborate closely with the Chief Product Office r. As well as with our overall teams to ensure a strong link between fan and organiser experience as well as technical delivery.
Work closely with innovative pilot customers. This means trialing and erroring as well as driving innovation in the industry.
Work closely with partners. Integrating across the digital ecosystem of sports proving customer value.
Build and own your own budget for tech development. A significant part goes to Research and Development (R&D).
Oversee and enable high-performing technology partnerships. We have partners in Dhaka and Lviv, ensuring delivery against strategic goals with speed, quality, and security.
Who You Are
A strategic technology leader with proven experience scaling SaaS platforms. Ideally in sports tech, fan engagement, fintech and/or ticketing.
Skilled at driving technical vision. And understand real-world impact as well as how important it is to build customer value. Passionate about solving problems. You fail forward, learning from mistakes and thrive in an open, trustworthy and honest business culture.
A comfortable leader. At architectural level, and enjoy recruiting and leading hands-on teams and team members. You lead with empathy and clarity, and are comfortable coaching teams through growth and change.

You enjoy an international environment. You will have colleagues from all over Europe and you master English fluently. This is our company wide working language.
