Receptionist - 4 weeks

Impact Creative Recruitment Ltd
Central London
Receptionist
Central London - Creative Agency
Start date: Monday 15th June
Shift pattern: 5 days on‑site, 8:30–5:00 or 8:00–4:30
4 weeks, could extend

The Role
A leading central London creative agency is looking for an immediately available Temp Receptionist to join their front‑of‑house team for an initial four‑week assignment, with the possibility of extension.

This is a busy, client‑facing role where you’ll be the first point of contact for staff, visitors and clients, ensuring a seamless and professional FOH experience.

The ideal candidate will be super proactive, confident working across multiple reception or service desks, and comfortable stepping into a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the reception desk and greeting all visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Liaising closely with the facilities team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Overseeing meeting room bookings
  • Supporting internal events, including catering, guest lists/issuing passes, and general event coordination
  • Managing inboxes, calls, deliveries and general FOH administration
  • Ensuring all communal areas remain tidy, organised and client‑ready at all times
What They’re Looking For
  • Previous experience working across multiple reception or service desks
  • Experience using Condeco/Engage booking systems (essential)
  • Bubbly personality and a consistently positive attitude - someone who naturally creates a warm, welcoming FOH experience and uplifts the team.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Outlook and general Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Experience within the creative industry is desirable but not essential
Ideal Candidate Profile
Someone who is polished, friendly and adaptable, with the confidence to manage a busy front desk independently. You’ll thrive in a creative environment, enjoy interacting with people, and take pride in delivering a high‑quality FOH experience. Immediate availability is essential.

We are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment process and welcome applications from all backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
