The Opportunity
Wayman Education is seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Manager to join a vibrant school community in Tottenham . This is an essential role for a proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff. With an immediate start available, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and become a key pillar of the school's support team.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and operational readiness of the school grounds. You will ensure the facilities are maintained to a high standard, supporting the smooth running of the academic day and special school events.
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance: Carry out minor repairs, painting, decorating, and clearing drains/gullies to keep the building in peak condition.
Portage & Logistics: Manage the delivery of mail and parcels; handle the setup of furniture for classrooms and the essential arrangement of tables and chairs for exam periods.
Event Support: Assist with preparations for parents’ evenings, governing body meetings, and other school functions.
Health & Safety: Conduct daily site inspections, reporting any defects to the responsible person and ensuring external areas are clear of litter, leaves, or broken glass.
Seasonal Care: Manage gritting for pathways and steps during periods of snow and ice to ensure site safety.
Operational Support: Respond to spillages throughout the day and undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Headteacher to support the school.

Requirements
