London, UK. Hybrid (min. 1 day in office per week)
Permanent, full-time
About TxODDS
TXODDS is a premier provider of ultra low-latency, accurate odds data, fast scores, and innovative betting solutions for the global sports betting industry. With offices in London, Chicago, and Belgrade - and team members working worldwide - we deliver cutting-edge technology and data products that power some of the world’s top sportsbooks.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead our data collection domain within the Data Acquisition function. You’ll sit at the heart of product and operations, turning business and customer needs into a clear, prioritised backlog that improves how we collect sports data at scale. Your work will directly boost coverage, reliability, correctness, and latency across the data that powers TXODDS products.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll take ownership of key responsibilities that help drive team and business success. Your day-to-day will include:
Own the roadmap and backlog for collection platforms, tools, and workflows, aligning priorities to business goals and customer needs.
Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and success measures; balance BAU improvements with longer-term platform evolution.
Partner closely with the Head of Data Acquisition and developers to deliver pragmatic, high-quality improvements on agreed timelines.
Collaborate with Content, Client Services, Commercial, Analytics, and Product to understand requirements and pain points, and convert them into actionable work.
Champion data quality, resilience, observability, and performance; help define and monitor KPIs like coverage, correctness, latency, and reliability.
Identify gaps and risks in current collection processes; lead discovery for new sports, competitions, sources, and collection approaches.
Document user journeys, workflows, and dependencies across the collection lifecycle; support post-delivery reviews and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for someone with the skills, experience, and mindset to thrive in this role. Ideally, you’ll have:
3+ years as a Product Owner / Product Manager (or similar) in a technology or data-driven environment.
Hands-on experience partnering with engineering teams in agile delivery (e.g., Scrum or Kanban).
Exposure to data intensive systems, APIs, automation, or real time platforms.
A knack for translating complex operational/technical problems into clear, testable product requirements.
Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences; organised and comfortable with competing priorities.
Curious, proactive approach with attention to detail and quality - and an interest in sports data and betting domains.
Nice to have: familiarity with Jira/Confluence and observability/KPI practices for data collection pipelines.
What You’ll Get From Us:
At TxODDS, you’ll be part of a well-established, technology-first company with ambitious growth plans and a global footprint. You’ll work alongside brilliant minds in a culture that’s fun, relaxed, and hardworking - where innovation and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
We offer a competitive benefits package tailored to your location, and we’re happy to share more details during the hiring process.
Interview Process
We like to keep things straightforward and respectful of your time. Most roles kick off with a friendly chat with the Talent Partner, followed by a couple of team interviews to dive deeper into your experience and fit. Depending on the role, there might be a short task or assessment - nothing scary, just a chance to show us how you think.
Please note, we use AI tools to record calls during the process. This helps us give you our full attention in the conversation and ensures we can review discussions accurately.
Equal Opportunities & Data Protection
TxODDS is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful workplace. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
We take data protection seriously. Any personal information shared during the application process will be handled in line with applicable privacy laws.
