About The Role

We have a new vacancy for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our centralised Finance team at TFG Brands. As a key member of our international finance function you will wear several hats supporting the Financial Reporting Manager with month end reporting, compliance statutory reporting and wider financial control.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the team during the month end close process by posting journals, maintaining accurate balance reconciliations, and providing analysis and insight into the financial information being reported in the management accounts
• Responsible for the monthly process for reporting admin and general costs in the accounting system (Sun) for the entire TFG Group (all brands) including:
• Utilities
• Insurance
• Repairs and maintenance costs
• Legal & professional fees
• Accounting & tax fees
• Travel & entertainment costs
• Fixed Assets
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for relevant balance sheet accounts (accruals, prepayments)
• P&L analysis for general costs
• Year End

Who you’ll be

To be successful in the role of Assistant Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

• CIMA / ACCA /ACA part qualified
• Proficient in Excel (Sums, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP etc.)
• Previous experience using Sun would be beneficial but not essential
• Resilient, very well organised and able to manage own time and deadlines with minimal supervision
  Flexible and positive approach, prepared to get involved with new tasks / projects
• Collaborative, strong team player, prepared to oversee and help others in the team
• Strong professional communication skills
• Retail background and / or experience of multisite operations preferable, but not essential
• Ability to clearly demonstrate and align with our TFG values; We Care, We Create, We Collaborate, We Connect
