About the Role

You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that engage pupils and support their academic and personal growth during this vital stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated

- Use ongoing assessment to track progress and inform teaching strategies

- Support pupils’ development of key skills including independence, teamwork, and critical thinking

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and share best practice

- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to support pupil progress

What We’re Looking For:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4 or adjacent year groups

- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective assessment methods

- Excellent behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach

- A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner who values collaboration and professional growth

- Commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
