(A) Residential Conveyancer
A well-established London law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Residential Property team .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential property lawyer who is looking to take the next step in their career within a well-regarded and growing team. You will work on a broad range of residential property matters, acting for a sophisticated client base and handling transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
The role would suit a solicitor with strong technical residential conveyancing experience who is confident managing their own caseload, enjoys building lasting client relationships and wants to be part of a collaborative team where there is genuine scope to develop.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a varied caseload of residential property matters, including:
- High-value freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Residential acquisitions and disposals
- Remortgages and refinancing
- Transfers of equity
- Lease extensions and other leasehold matters
- Portfolio transactions and investment property
- New-build and development-related transactions
- Advising HNW individuals, investors and private clients
- Managing matters from instruction through to exchange and completion
- Liaising confidently with clients, agents, lenders, brokers and other professional advisers
- Providing clear, commercially minded advice and maintaining high standards of client care
- Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team
- Contributing to the continued development and growth of the residential property practice
The successful candidate is likely to be:
- A qualified solicitor with 6+ years' PQE in residential property/conveyancing
- Technically strong across both freehold and leasehold transactions
- Experienced in managing a caseload independently from instruction to completion
- Comfortable handling complex and high-value residential matters
- Confident dealing directly with clients and other stakeholders
- Commercially aware, organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Proactive, personable and solutions-focused
- Able to build strong, long-term client and professional relationships
- A supportive team player who is comfortable assisting and mentoring junior colleagues
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is a chance to join a high-quality residential property practice with an established reputation in the London market , offering exposure to interesting and varied work rather than purely high-volume conveyancing.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced property lawyers, develop strong client relationships and play a meaningful role within a growing team, with the autonomy and responsibility expected at Senior Associate level.
If you are an experienced Residential Property Solicitor looking for a move where the quality of work, client base and long-term progression matter, this could be an excellent next step.
