SEN TA - Bromley
A supportive primary school in Bromley is seeking a skilled and empathetic SEN TA to join the special educational needs team from January 2026. The SEN TA will work one-to-one and with small groups to deliver tailored programmes, support access to the curriculum and help pupils develop social, emotional and academic skills. This SEN TA role in Bromley will begin January 2026, with induction and handover provided before January 2026.

The SEN TA will assist the SENCo and class teachers to implement personalised learning plans, run evidence-informed interventions, support sensory and communication needs and contribute to review meetings. Working in Bromley, the SEN TA will be part of a collaborative team committed to inclusive practice and positive outcomes for pupils.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions to support learning and progress.
- Adapt and prepare resources to enable access to lessons and to promote independence.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and sensory needs using agreed strategies across Bromley.
- Monitor and record progress, contribute to reviews and communicate with teachers and parents.
- Assist with transitions, toileting or personal care where required and maintain dignity and confidentiality.
Person specification
- Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs in school or specialist settings as a SEN TA.
- Patient, adaptable and skilled at delivering structured interventions and behaviour strategies in Bromley.
- Good record-keeping and communication skills; available to start January 2026 and to attend induction before January 2026.
