SEN TA | Croydon
A supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Croydon is seeking a compassionate SEN TA to join their team from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a SEN TA who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with diverse learning needs. The successful SEN TA will begin their role in January 2026, with a full induction and handover programme completed before January 2026 to ensure a confident and effective start.
• SEN TA required to provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs
• SEN TA required to work within an inclusive primary school in Croydon
• SEN TA to deliver structured interventions and promote pupil independence
Within this Croydon school, the SEN TA will work one-to-one and in small groups, helping pupils access learning and develop key academic and social skills. The SEN TA will liaise closely with the SENCo and class teachers to adapt resources, deliver targeted programmes and monitor progress. The SEN TA will also support emotional regulation strategies and contribute to positive behaviour systems throughout the Croydon school community.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group academic and pastoral support
- Deliver structured intervention programmes to enhance pupil progress
- Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs
- Support social, emotional and behavioural development
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with colleagues and families in Croydon
Person Specification
- Experience working with pupils with SEND as a SEN TA
- Patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships
- Confident in delivering structured interventions
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Available to start January 2026
