Product Lead

About the Role

We're looking for a highly technical, product-obsessed Director-level leader to take full ownership of the product vision and roadmap for a fast-growing consumer mobile app. This role exists to decide what the product becomes — leading a cross-functional team of around ten people to scale from 100K to 1M+ monthly active users.

You'll be the driving force behind product strategy, working at the intersection of consumer mobile, AI-generated content, and rapid experimentation. What You'll Do

• Own the entire product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a consumer mobile app

• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data specialists

• Drive growth from 100K to 1M+ MAU through data-informed decision-making

• Run live A/B tests and experiments that move headline metrics like retention and conversion

• Make technical trade-offs with engineering around mobile and backend architecture

• Define product strategy for a creation-first, UGC-focused application

• Manage non-deterministic AI pipelines and their impact on QA and release planning

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years in product management, including at least 3 years owning a consumer mobile app across iOS and Android

• At least 2 years of direct people management experience

• Proven track record of scaling a consumer app from 100K to 1M+ MAU

• Deep experience running live A/B testing and moving metrics like D1 retention, engagement, or conversion

• Strong technical literacy around mobile, backend, and AI/ML pipelines

• Genuine product taste and intuition for what makes consumer apps addictive and engaging

Bonus Points For

• Experience with social, UGC, or short-form media apps

• Shipping products where the core content is AI-generated

• Managing AI pipelines and understanding their impact on product quality and release cycles

• Background in hyper-casual gaming, creator ecosystems, or rapid prototyping environments

What Won't Be a Fit

• Pure delivery or Scrum PM backgrounds who only execute backlogs prioritized by others

• Product Owner profiles who translate decisions rather than making them

• Lack of technical literacy regarding mobile, backend, or AI systems

• Enterprise or massive-scale consumer backgrounds where you only owned a narrow surface at 50M+ MAU

Interview Process

1. 45 minutes — Founders interview (vision, fit, and background)

2. 1 hour — Decision exercise (how you'd approach our product challenges)

3. 30 minutes — Spec & delivery interview (execution and technical depth)
