Year 5 Teacher - Ealing
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and high-performing primary school in Ealing. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Upper Key Stage 2 pupils, helping them develop independence, resilience, and the academic skills needed for Year 6.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement while creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Assessment will be used effectively to track progress, inform planning, and ensure pupils of all abilities make strong progress.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 2, sharing good practice and contributing to a consistent and high-quality learning experience. Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, and those requiring additional intervention will be an important part of the role.
This position is suitable for experienced teachers, although confident ECTs with strong Key Stage 2 training are encouraged to apply. The school places a strong emphasis on staff development, wellbeing, and collaboration.

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2
Creates engaging and well-managed classrooms
Has high expectations for learning and behaviour
Works effectively as part of a team
