Midweight Content Creator

Fabric Social
London

About Fabric

Fabric isn’t your average social agency - we’re mavericks, culture-obsessed, trend-first and community-first thinkers. We’re not just about reach; we’re about resonance. We nourish communities, creating social ecosystems that pull audiences in, not just push content out. And now, we’re on the hunt for a Midweight Content Creator to help lead the charge.

The Role

As a Midweight Content Creator, you’ll concept, create and activate original, social-first content that stops the scroll and sparks conversation.

You’ll be equally comfortable dreaming up first-of-their-kind ideas, bringing them to life on camera, and driving meaningful engagement in the comment section. This is a hybrid creative role, blending standout content creation with proactive community thinking.

You’ll sit within the Creative team, working closely with Community/Conceptual teams, Client Services, Strategy and Production. And you’ll report into one of the Creative Leads.

Key Responsibilities

Social-First Concepting & Creation

  • Develop original, culturally relevant content ideas across always-on BAU and campaign work

  • Concept and produce engaging content across TikTok, Instagram and Meta platforms

  • Film, edit and publish social content with strong attention to platform nuances and best practices

  • Confidently present creative concepts and decks to clients, telling a clear and compelling story

  • Contribute creative thinking to new business pitches, including content pillars and always-on ideas

On-Camera & Creator Presence

  • Be a confident face on camera where needed

  • Bring personality and authenticity to content output

  • Identify opportunities for creator-led storytelling and influencer collaborations

Cultural & Platform Expertise

  • Stay ahead of trends, memes and cultural conversations

  • React quickly and strategically with brand-safe messaging

  • Maintain deep knowledge of platform updates and algorithm shifts

  • Advise clients and internal teams on how platform changes may impact content strategies

Planning & Optimisation

  • Collaborate on content calendar planning to ensure consistent, high-quality output

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, guidelines and visual identity

  • Identify what to stop, start and scale based on data insights

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a social media or content role (agency or in-house)

  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to generate distinctive, original ideas

  • Confident filming and editing content for social platforms

  • Comfortable presenting work to clients

  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Meta, including platform nuances and best practices

  • Passion for online culture, trends and social vernacular

  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience briefing or ideating influencer and creator content is a bonus

What You’ll Get

  • Creative freedom with real impact

  • The opportunity to work with brands that want to push boundaries in social

  • A culture that champions creativity, collaboration and genuinely great work

  • Clear progression opportunities within Creative and Community pathways

  • Competitive salary and benefits
